WhatIfI Group Ltd has formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant, making a public commitment to recognise and support serving personnel, reservists, veterans, Service leavers, military families and the wider Armed Forces Community.
The Covenant was signed by WhatIfI Group on 14 July 2026 and published on GOV.UK by the Reserve Forces' and Cadets' Associations on 11 August 2026.
By signing the Covenant, WhatIfI Group has committed to the fundamental principle that members of the Armed Forces Community should face no disadvantage because of their service, and that special consideration may be appropriate in some circumstances, particularly for those who have been injured or bereaved.
The commitment reflects WhatIfI Group's belief that the skills, experience, leadership and contribution of the Armed Forces Community should be recognised and valued both in the workplace and across wider society.

Turning the Covenant into action
As part of its published Covenant, WhatIfI Group has made commitments covering support for Service veterans and leavers, Service spouses and partners, reservists, cadets, wounded, injured and sick personnel, Armed Forces charities and the wider Armed Forces Community. The company has also pledged support for Armed Forces Day and Reserve Forces Day, additional leave for reservists, flexible leave for Service spouses and the provision of discounts.
The organisation has made a series of additional pledges designed to embed that commitment within the business. These include engaging with the Career Transition Partnership, building relationships with local Regular and Reserve Armed Forces units, providing opportunities for staff to learn about the Armed Forces Community and appointing an internal Armed Forces lead.
WhatIfI Group has also committed to establishing an internal Armed Forces Network, helping colleagues with an Armed Forces connection to meet, support one another and contribute to the organisation's continuing work in this area.
Its further commitments include promoting training and further and higher education opportunities for Service leavers, veterans and their families, supporting the wellbeing of Service children, ensuring fair access to services for the Armed Forces Community and participating in remembrance and ceremonial activities.
A continuing commitment
Signing the Covenant marks the beginning of a continuing programme of support rather than the conclusion of one.
WhatIfI Group will work with organisations supporting the Covenant and Armed Forces Community, while continuing to develop practical ways in which its employment practices, training opportunities, services and wider activities can recognise those with an Armed Forces connection.
The company has also committed to publicising its Covenant commitments and inviting feedback from the Service community and its customers about how effectively those commitments are being delivered.
