Accessibility
Accessibility
WhatIfI Group wants everyone to be able to use this website and our services. This statement explains what we are doing, where we know we fall short, and how to get help.
Our commitment
We are committed to removing unnecessary barriers that stop people taking part in our services and activities. Our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy sets out how we do this: accessibility is considered when we design services, buy technology, develop training, run meetings and prepare communications. We consider reasonable adjustments for disabled people and others who need additional support, and we write in clear language that suits our audience. Information is offered in different formats where that helps.
This website
We aim to make this website work for people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- We have run automated accessibility checks on our main pages and fixed the issues they found.
- The site is designed to work on phones, tablets and computers, and when text is enlarged.
- Automated checks do not find every problem, and we have not yet had a full independent accessibility audit, so we cannot claim full conformance.
What does not work as well
- Our map finder. The Find your OS map tool is provided by a third party, WhichOSMap. We do not control its design and it may not work well for everyone, especially for people who cannot use a mouse or touch screen to explore a map. If you need help finding a map, contact us and we will help.
- Checkout. Payment and checkout pages are provided by Shopify.
- Downloadable documents. Our policies are provided as Word documents. If you need one in another format, ask us.
