WhatIfI Group Ltd has expanded its digital learning offer after becoming an authorised reseller of Highfield Online Training, giving individuals and organisations access to a growing range of flexible online training courses through WhatIfI Group.
Highfield Online Training provides digital learning across a broad range of workplace and compliance subjects, including health and safety, food safety, first aid, licensing, safeguarding, fire safety, equality and diversity, and spectator safety. Highfield operates an established partner network which includes resellers, referral partners and integration partners.
The new partnership will enable WhatIfI Group to complement its instructor-led and classroom training with online learning that can be accessed by learners wherever they are, allowing customers to select the delivery model that best suits their individual or organisational requirements.
George Collins, Chief Executive Officer of WhatIfI Group, said:
“Becoming a Highfield Online Training reseller is another important step in building the learning offer we want to provide through WhatIfI Group.
“Not every learner needs to attend a classroom and not every organisation can release its people for traditional training. High-quality online learning gives us another way of helping people develop their knowledge and remain compliant without unnecessary barriers to accessing training.
“Highfield is a highly recognised name within education and training, and we are delighted to be working with them to make their online training available to our customers.”
More choice for learners and employers
Highfield's online courses are designed to provide flexible, self-paced learning which can be accessed across a range of devices. Many courses provide immediate access following enrolment and downloadable certification on successful completion.
For WhatIfI Group, the reseller relationship forms part of a wider strategy to provide customers with a choice of classroom, virtual, blended and self-paced online learning, rather than adopting a single approach to training delivery.
The online portfolio will allow employers to purchase training for individuals or larger groups, providing a practical option for induction, compliance, continuing professional development and workforce training.
Supporting a wider learning offer
Online learning will sit alongside WhatIfI Group's expanding programme of instructor-led training, allowing appropriate digital courses to be offered either independently or as part of a wider training pathway.
The company intends to use online learning particularly where it can reduce unnecessary time away from work while protecting the quality and accessibility of the learner experience.
Highfield Online Training already provides courses covering a significant range of compliance and workplace subjects and works with employers in the UK and internationally.
George Collins added:
“Our aim is not simply to sell courses. We want to make it easier for customers to identify the right training, access it in the right format and build sensible learning pathways for their people.
“Sometimes the right answer will be a practical course with an instructor. Sometimes it will be live virtual learning. Sometimes a well-designed online course is exactly what is needed. Being able to offer all of those options makes our overall proposition considerably stronger.”
Details of the Highfield Online Training courses available through WhatIfI Group will be published through the company's training platform and website.
