Course Description
The qualification and learning outcomes are based on the recommendations of:
- The Resuscitation Council (UK)
- A distinguished panel of experts in emergency medical care
This qualification enables Learners who operate in clinical practice environments to attain the practical competencies needed to provide BLS, safely use an AED and manage a casualty with anaphylaxis. Topics include: Incident and casualty assessment, Adult CPR and AED, unconscious casualty, management of anaphylaxis and choking casualty.
